L'3D printed Fizik adaptive padding finally extends to the Argo family, creating the perfect solution for those who want exceptional and lasting comfort on a versatile platform that provides both stability and balance.

3D printed padding

L'Evolution of digital 3D printing has allowed us to develop a new saddle without the constraints or limitations imposed by production methods and traditional materials. L'Padding of the Adaptive Sella is made by Carbon using their revolutionary Digital Light Synthesis technology. DLS is an additive production process that uses the projection of digital ultraviolet light, oxygen permeable optics and programmable liquid resins to produce parts with excellent mechanical properties, resolution and surface finish.

Tailor -made zonal cushioning

Using Carbon technology, biomechanical and engineers have an unprecedented possibility: to design and create multiple functional areas within the saddle, adjusting each of them separately for specific mechanical properties. Each of these key functional areas is designed for a distinctive softening and mechanical response, gradually and seamlessly united in the same padding. The result? A 60% reduction in peak pressure through a better weight distribution for greater comfort on the entire surface of the saddle.

Argo for all streets

Our most versatile form of saddle, Argo, is at ease on a variety of types of bikes and surfaces. Whether it's rolling on smooth asphalt or navigating on technical soils, Argo is designed to help cyclists find a better posture, putting them in a more planted position for greater stability and better weight distribution. In addition, the shortest design, with a drop tip, provides higher support when adopting a powerful and aerodynamic pedaling position.

Design, test, guide

To develop the ideal adaptive comfort areas, we have studied the various driving positions and the pressure points of professional and amateur cyclists, both in the Fizik laboratories and on open roads, dirt tracks and paths. During each phase of development, the new iterations have been carefully tested, with great attention to the understanding of how the pressure models change based on different geometries of the bike, driving positions and surface types.

Lasting performance

The saddle is very easy to clean. Even with the dirtiest road mud, gravel powder or splash of path, everything you need to do is simply wash it with water. Everything that enters, comes out. L'We have subjected to the most severe tests, simulating L'accelerated aging, L'UV aging and wear resistance following rigid protocols.
